Controlling residual stress during manufacturing - Dr Salah Rahimi
Salah is a Technical Lead at the University of Strathclyde’s Advanced Forming Research Centre (AFRC)
He is an expert in measurement, modelling and control of residual stress and in the mechanical and microstructural characterisation of materials. A key theme of his research is to control material characteristics and residual stress during the manufacturing processes of forging and forming
Sustainable Steel - Professor Claire Davis
Claire holds a Royal Academy of Engineering / Tata Steel Chair in Low Energy Steel Processing at Warwick Manufacturing Group, University of Warwick.
She was recently made a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering.
